A Note on Pronounciation
"Erling Skjalgsson" is pronounced "AIR-ling SHAHLG-son." "Ailil" is pronounced "Ay-LEEL" (thanks to William Letmon for helping me out on that one). When pronouncing Norse names, remember that "j" is always pronounced as a "y." The double "a," as in "Haakon," rhymes with "go." For the rest, normal English pronounciation will be wrong, but not badly wrong.
